Question about my Mastonet Auction

Posted By: Joey
My 1958 Pancho Herrera error card is up for sale in the current Mastronet auction. I decided to move more into the T206 set and am planning on using the $$ to pick up more of my needs from that set. Now, the card is stuck on $4300 and I am starting to gt a little concerned that the card is not going to sale well. I have never sold anything through Mastronet before so I really have no ideas on what to expect from the card. I guess I am really just curious what you think it may sell for. I was hoping for somewhere around $10K since it is an 8. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Question about my Mastonet Auction

Posted By: jay behrens
I would worry too much about stalled out bidding. All the really serious bidding will happen towards the end of the auction. The basic course of major auctions is a lot of fast early auctions, the stall, and then the last minute flurry.

Jay

I've just reached Upper Lower Class. I am now officially a babe magnet for poor chicks.

Question about my Mastonet Auction

Posted By: Robert
I would be in trouble if it ends today because I am winning way to many lots (21) and would seriously deplete my bank account. I am sure that when it is all over I will end winning just a couple. Same thing happened last time and everyone started bidding the last 2 days.

Question about my Mastonet Auction

Posted By: Joey
I stayed up until 12am EST watching the auction and it seemed stalled at $6400. I woke up this AM not expecting any change but checked anyway and was suprised to see the final price. That will cover the T206 Johnson portrait I've been looking for.

Posted By: Josh K.
That must be an awfully nice Johnson portrait you are going after. You could get half the hall of famers in a pretty nice grade (sgc 60/psa 5) for that money.
