Their take is scandal keeps the player in the news, and maintains higher prices, except for alleged violent behavior. They suggest that the response Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi have received from fans, maybe, their memorabilia might increase in value (except, the supply is huge)<br /><br />edited to add: they point out Joe Jackson's 1940 card from after his playing days is worth more than Ted Williams 1939 rookie card.
