You can see the seal on the other end is broken too.

Posted By: Scott Bob
The seller "jerryjersey" has a history of selling re-sealed "T206 era packs" including Sweet Caporal, Piedmont and Sovereign packs. I remember he sold an "unopened" 1920s Sovereign pack for $12xx. I emailed the buyer and he told me he pulled a Sovereign t206 with a crease in the middle of the card.

Also, for the pack he is selling now, that tax stamp got to be from another source since that stamp is from an earlier era which doesn't match the time period of that SC pack.

He has been making a lot of money selling those home made packs. Stay away from this guy.

Warning!! Another homemade "Unopened T206 Era pack"

Posted By: Richard Dwyer
"The offered item is a dated June 1, 1901 Unopened Sweet Caporal Cigarette Pack. Extremely rare (1 5/8" x 2 7/8") full and complete pack of 10 cigarettes is from Factory 30 District 2 State Of New York. This was a well known factory for the insertion of the T206 baseball tobacco cards in each pack of Sweet Caporal cigarettes. The pack is dated 1901 and the affixed Dewitt Clinton stamp would run until August of 1909 which is the beginning of the T206 Card Era..."

Although the factory is correct, the date on the tax stamp is not. Doesn't state that there's a T206 card inside. Can't believe I'm standing up for someone who in the past has mislead people.
