I got it from Lew off of ebay a few years ago. It's standard Exhibit size, on heavy cardboard, blank backed, and says "@ U&U N.Y." at the bottom. I presume that is for the prolific photography studio of Underwood and Underwood.....regards (I think I posted this a long time ago too)<br /><br /><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1113058325.JPG">

According to Marc Okkonen's book on uniforms, the Yankees did not start wearing solid blue stirrups until 1922, so it seems your card must date from then or later. U&U provided the photos used to make those crude w515 strip cards in 1923, so maybe they provided the photos themselves for other cards around that time.

Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>For seasoned baseball photo collectors, the Underwood stamp is desirable. As the company went out of business fifty years ago, the stamp proves a Ruth or Ty Cobb photo old. They also made commercially sold stereoviews, so they were busy folk.
