Any Pinkerton experts out there?
Posted By: Paul
There's a Roger Bresnahan cabinet card in the Goodwin auction (www.goodwinauction.com). It's listed as a Pinkerton, but it doesn't look like the few Pinkertons I've seen. It looks more like a Jones, Keyser cabinet. Do any of you know what it really is?

Posted By: davidcycleback
but I think you're right. I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that the Pinkertons are more expensive, but think the JK's are nicer looking.

Posted By: J Levine
Definitely a Jones, Keyser & Arras Cabinet...the number and copyright are dead giveaways...very similar to Pinkertons in that they were issued with mounts and can be found with or without...see page 195 and 196 of the 2005 SCD.

Good eyes guys...

Joshua
