Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>The Tigers did have spring training in Ypsilanti in 1902 (before Cobb), and the town is home to Eastern Michigan University and its athletic facilities. It's much possible that the Tigers were in town for a practice, pre-season or exhibition game.
