MJ Roop
Posted By: Tom Boblitt
I took the plunge and bought a MJ Roop slip cover binder for my T206 set and WOW.....they are really nice (Legal disclaimer....I am in NO way associated with or for them). It was a little pricey but for a set of that value the $50-$60 was pretty well spent. Nice cover page with a Cobb pictured and a great laminated two page checklist of the players. Pretty cool. Anyone else use them for anything?

Posted By: warshawlaw
for that price, I assume it is all archival material, including de-acidified cardboard, etc. Any info on that?

Posted By: Josh K.
I have a few of their binders. They are very nice and of archival quality. I will post a picture tonight if I get a chance.
Ok, I went to their website and downloaded a couple of their stock pics (not my cards). I own two of the "collector series" binders (the all-in-one binder pictured second) and use them with sheets designed to hold graded cards. Its much better than putting all of my graded cards in a shoebox. Tom, I beleive, purchased the binder and slip cover as shown in the first picture

Posted By: Josh K.
Joe,

You are welcome.

I should also add that the binders are all completely customizable. I didnt like the bb card logo shown on the front of binder pictured second and had it left off. Down the spine I simply had mine labled "Baseball" with the word "Graded" above it and Vol. I and Vol. II below.

Finally, I should also add that I am in no way affiliated with MJ Roop - just like their products - even if a bit expensive.

Posted By: qualitycards
Roop also purduces a cardboard and wooden box that houses 176 slabbed cards. The cardboard one costs about as much as the binders, and the wooden one is a few $ more. When you think of the value that the 176 slabs hold (even if they are $20 across the board, thats $3k+) its pretty nominal to house them. It sure beats putting them in cheese boxes or standard set boxes.
