Found a red Hindu t206 today....
Posted By: Andy Broome

I've been watching this board for a long time and posted maybe twice. I'm new to posting but I had to share this!

Just when I thought the finds were all gone, I walked into an antique store this afternoon and saw 6 t206 commons in one of the dealers cabinets. The prices were $35 to $45 for g/vg at best. Yeah right I thought. I opened the cabinet just to see that all the backs were common backs as usual. The first card I flipped had a red Hindu! The card is Stahl, Boston. I will post a scan when I get home next week.

Andy

Found a red Hindu t206 today....
Posted By: Andy Broome
Yes, it has been a dream to find something like this. This was one of my greatest moments of T206 collecting. In November, I purchased a lot of 14 T206's from a collector at a local flea market. 3 of the cards were Carolina Brights backs. 2 commons and one Hal Chase, dark cap. Another great moment. What was strange was that he wouldn't sell a 15th T206 to me becasue it has a Sovereign back. He really liked the green back and thought it was hard to get. I told him no problem.
I hope 2005 will be as nice!
