unopened sweet caporal

Posted By: pete
My brother and I went in on an unopened pack of sweet caporal cigarettes last year that was authenticated by GAI, with the label stating the year range is 1912-1919. If I'm reading right, there's 12 cigarettes in the pack, and the back of the pack (only) is raised a little, which makes me think a "card". But this might be just the holder. Anyone know what might be inside? I've heard possibly the disks (if early enough). I've also been told the type II or III cards. I've been offered 1k, is this a good offer?
pete-

Posted By: Richard Dwyer
12 cigarettes is the tip off. My belief is that all T206 packs had only 10 cigarettes in them along with the right tax stamp, year, factory number, district, & state, and that it is a "slide & shell" box.

See: <a href="http://cycleback.com/packdate.html</a" target=_new>http://cycleback.com/packdate.html</a> for pack dates.
