In some instances if you have a marquee item, they charge you 0%<br />Standard fees are usally 15% from your end as well as a 15% hammer fee.<br />Also in some instances they may send you money in advance to secure your lots. To get all your money due, figure 3-4 weeks or so after the auction ends.

Posted By: <b>qualitycards</b><p>is the buyers extra 15% premium for the privilidge of bidding.<br />So a $1000 lot will cost the buyer $1150, and the consignor takes in $850 of that, based on 15% buyers premium (hammer) and the consignors fees. Some auction houses are higher and lower on both ends, but 15% is standard both ways on many auctions.

Posted By: <b>tbob</b><p>One of my consignments was a near set of T207s about 5 years ago. During the photo process of the cards for the catalogue, somehow they lost the Lowdermilk card. Yes, lost. They told me they must have accidentally thrown it away. I think the final price suffered because of the loss of the card but they reimbursed me for the value of the card based on my opinion as to its worth and apologized. They are very professional in their dealings but I still shake my head at how this card could have simply "disappeared."

They seem like a first rate auction house.
