What if?
Posted By: Darren J Duet
I've always wondered what if there were a T205 wagner, a 1952 topps Dimaggio, a '34 goudey Ruth, etc. What card not in existence would be on the top of your wantlists?

T202 Jackson swings Black Betsy(centerpanel) Wagner/Cobb would be the ultimate.

Posted By: John/z28jd
Hugh Daily old judge card would be my top choice

A card of Jack Martin, maybe a t207.He lived in the same town i grew up in and the place i work at is on the corner of the street named after him.

On a different note,i was thinking how common the name Hugh was[Duffy,Jennings,Critz,Daily etc] but since 1950 only one person has played in the majors with the first name Hugh[Yancy],and he only played 7 games over 3 seasons during a 5 year stretch in the early 70s

Posted By: T206Collector
With 5 games in 1908 and 1909, 20 in 1910 and 147 in 1911, I would have liked to see the following five cards of "Shoeless" Joe Jackson in the T206 set:

Joe Jackson (Batting)
Joe Jackson (Fielding)
Joe Jackson (Shoes On)
Joe Jackson (Shoes Off)
Joe Jackson (Portrait, Cleveland)

Then, of course, there were those three rare variations that would have driven collectors wild...

Joe Jackson (Portrait, Phila, Amer.) (rare variation)
oe ackson (Missing both "J's") (rare variation)
Joe Jacksen (misspelling) (rare variation)

Posted By: Paul
I've always thought a 1951 Bowman Joe DiMaggio would be nice, with a shot of him stretching to catch a fly in the outfield.

I'd also like to see Type 3 Coupon Cigarette cards of Ruth, Hornsby, Sisler, and Alexander. They were issued in 1919 and look just like T206s, so I think these cards would've been cool. I don't think Coupon added any new players for its 1919 set, but it still seems neat.

And how about all those missing 1941 Play Balls -- like Hal Newhouser and Early Wynn rookies, an early card of Feller, a final card of Grove, Gabby Hartnett with the Giants. And also a 1939 Play Ball Gehrig. And a 38 Goudey Gehrig.

Also nice would be E107s and Fan Craze cards of Jesse Burkett and Frank Selee. Or, really stretching things, Louis Sockalexis.

And how about N162s of almost everyone -- Delahanty, Clarkson, Ward, Ewing, Connor, O'Rourke, Welch, Radbourn, etc.

Two cards that were issued, but probably don't exist, that would be nice to find are the W600s of Burkett and Branch Rickey (as a player).

But what I'd like to see most of all is an N28 Bid McPhee. Then I could actually find and afford a McPhee card.
