Your posting of the Taddy's Clown card brings those memories rushing back to us. We vividly recall munching on peanuts as the elephants pranced about and the clowns entertained us with their antics. Posted By: <b>Bruce Dorskind</b><p><br><br>Brian<br><br>We do not appreciate your cynical comments.<br><br>Whilst we pay "top prices", we always leave it to the seller<br>to provide us with his/her asking price.<br><br>Our goal is to obtain the items we want but to maximize<br>our resources.<br><br>There are many opportunities to win cards at a price far below<br>the maximum price we are willing to pay. <br><br>In most auctions, we leave bids because we have identified several<br>major auction houses that enjoy, despite what they say, "running<br>up" bids. Regardless of what one has, one should bid responsibly.<br><br>Last year we tracked the three whales on E BAY and their bids were topped <br>at least 25% of the time...(and not always by one another) <br><br>In this hobby, like life itself, our rule of thumb, is TRUST NO ONE<br>and DOUBLE CHECK EVERYONE.<br><br><br><br>Bruce Dorskind<br>America's Toughest Want List

I will then have a little more current market pricing information.</i><br><br>Steve -<br><br> No, theoretically it is possible you could get worse than no thanks.<br><br>1) You could be left in limbo and get no reply at all after you sent scans of the cards he asked for.<br><br>2) You could get upbraided for your prices based on falling market conditions and told to revise your pricing.<br><br>3) You could agree to a deal, but after holding the card for him have him not pay.<br><br>Apparent naysayers might say that "no thanks" is the best you can do, but an optimist would say you can send prices. It is a new year after all.
