Posted By: <b>Rhett Yeakley</b><p>I have had the following items for a while and thay are all pretty neat, they are related to manufacturers of Baseball Card sets or in the case of the Marburg tin are related to Non-Sport Card sets. Prices do not include shipping, which will depend on the size of the item. Prices are negotiable on the following items as well, if I don't get any bites after a few days.<br /><br />1.) 1913 Boston Garter Box. Dated on side panel with 1913 date, and due to design can easily be attributed to the 1913 Boston Garter set. <br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/garterbox2.JPG"><br />You find generic Boston Garter boxes pretty ofte but this one can easily be attributed to the "card era". Neat piece <b> $120 </b><br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/garterbox.JPG"><br /><br />2.) 1930's Fro-Joy Container. Great item that is closely tied to the oft-reprinted Babe Ruth set. Very delicate and tough to find piece <b> $35 </b><br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/frojoy.JPG"><br /><br />3.) Dockman & Sons Candy Box. From 1910-20 era. Entitled "Cake Walk" with minstrel scene on front. Will include the novelty that it came with and in a seperate baggy the actual contents of the box (yuk!) <b> $65 </b><br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/dockmans.JPG"><br /><br />4.) Darby Candy Co. candy box entitled "Vivil". First time I have ever seen this. Great item dating to same era as E271 set from the same Baltimore Candy Co. Pretty neat piece, great condition except for slight warp of the lid. The item is made of thin pieces of wood (not cardboard) & has feel of a cigar box. <b> $95 </b> <br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/vivil.JPG"><br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/vivil2.JPG"><br /><br /><br />5.) 1880's Allen & Ginter "Louisiana Perique" Tobacco Tin. The item is actually in better shape than the scan would indicate. It is black with dark print so it was hard to get a picture of (ie looks better in person than my crappy picture). Neat early Allen & Ginter tin.<br /><b> $50 </b><br /><img src="http://starsofthediamond.com/perique.JPG"><br /><br />6.) 1880-90's Marburg Tobacco "Yale Mixture" tobacco tin. Great looking tin, which unfortunately has some wear to the top, but otherwise is very high grade. Marburg is associated with several non-sport sets including N406-N4088, N412-415, N419-N420.
