Posted By: <b>Joe D.</b><p>Two very nice team postcards featuring the two 1906 World Series teams.<br /><br />1906 World Series Champion Chicago Whitesox and the team they beat, the 1906 Chicago Cubs.<br /><br />The White Sox card was postally used and has a stamp of October 9, 1906 (the first day of the world series I believe)<br /><br />The Cubs card was not postally used but there are game notes written on the back in pencil.<br /><br /><br />I intended to hold onto these for a long time... but I now find myself needing the money to buy other stuff (isn't this a great hobby!)<br /><br /><br />Edit: now asking $950 for the pair (was $1250) - PayPal preferred.<br />First come, first served.<br /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.internetville.com/images/albums/userpics/10001/1906SoxFront.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://www.internetville.com/images/albums/userpics/10001/1906cubsFront.jpg">
