1800s baseball photo
Posted By: <b>Joe D.</b><p>$95 delivered / insured.<br /><br />I picked this up on eBay a while back. <br /><br />From posting it on the main board - the diamond shaped home plate dates the photo to prior to 1900.<br /><br /><br />I believe it to be original - but I am not a photography expert. I hate to give that kind of hedge on a listing... I shined the blacklight - nothing glowed and nothing looks fishy. If someone feels otherwise - let me know.<br /><br /><br />Anyway - a great baseball image for $95.<br /><br />Email with any questions.... and if you would like a better front / back scan - I can do that tonight and send it off to you.<br /><br />edit to add: It measures approximately 4" x 5".<br /><br /><img src="http://www.internetville.com/images/albums/userpics/10001/1800sball2.jpg">
