Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>Negatives made out of glass are reliably Pre-War, as they long ago quit using glass. Post 1930s negatives are made out of thin plastic film. Also, old glass negatives often had paper envelopes like pictured.

He played a few games for the Red Sox in '14 after being purchased from the Orioles and was sent to their International League team in Providence RI for the rest of the season for experience. He played the whole 1915 season with the big club so would have had a real Boston contract that year.
