Ty Cobb Bat
Posted By: <b>Todd</b><p>Can anyone tell me the value of this bat? I'm pretty sure it's from the 1911-1916 labeling period. I don't have the length right now but I will have it later. Any possibility that Cobb could have used this bat as I know he was known to use some decal bats during his playing days?<br /><br /><br /><img src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn257/TJE42404/TYCOBBBAT4.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn257/TJE42404/TYCOBBBAT3.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn257/TJE42404/TYCOBBBAT2.jpg"><br /><br /><img src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn257/TJE42404/TYCOBBBAT1.jpg"><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />

I know there has been at least one Cobb Decal bat has been sold as a gamer, but I still haven't seen conclusive proof that Cobb ever used a decal bat in a major league game.

These are always in high demand...<br /><br />Dan is right on with the price... I would say its worth perhaps even a bit more ($1,400 - $1,800) if you were to consign it to a high-end auction like Mastro, Lelands, Hunts or REA.
