Exclusive Sports Question

Posted By: Ron
The reason I was asking about ESP was that my kids bought a Manny Ramirez signed baseball from them about a year and a half ago for me as a present. It was stored in a bedroom closet with all of my other cards and memorabilia and when we went to look at the ball about a month ago the autograph seems to have disappeared. I know items such as these should not be exposed to UV light etc. that is why I keep my items in storage. Well anyway I have emailed and phoned this company seven times in the past three weeks with not one single reply (just stated that I had a question on an item I purchased). I would certainly recommend to anyone to avoid dealing with Exclusive Sports or ESP.....

Posted By: Jodi Birkholm
Just keep in mind that it's not the fault of the show promoter that your signature faded. Even if the ball was signed in Sharpie and faded due to that reason. The standard industry policy is, "once you buy a signed ball, it no longer becomes the seller's headache. It's yours." Authenticity is of course an entirely different matter. Certainly one reason to love flat items even more. It was fine when they sold it to you, I assume? Either way, I do understand that you're unhappy over the poor communication. You have every right to be dissatisfied in that regard.

Posted By: J.McMurry
This company has been discussed before in another forum. basically from what I remember their stuff is legit, but their customer service SUX!

Doubt many dealers would replace a ball because of fading.
