Jimmie Foxx Bengal Hide Driver Bat Help
Posted By: Mike H
I've never heard of or seen this manufacturer. Most, not all, endorsed bats date from the players career. A few continued to be used beyond if the name was a real draw, i.e. Mantle and Ruth.

Jimmie Foxx Bengal Hide Driver Bat Help
Posted By: John Harrell
This bat is likely from the 30's-40's. Although the -.- in the label would indicate a "teens" date, Foxx obviously did not begin his career until 1925. The use of the term Driver would indicate a 1930's date, referring to the Hanna bat company use of the term Driver (they were probably the first). The bat finish also is similar to that used on the 40's Hanna Bats.

John
