O/T - "Cagers"
Posted By: ramram
Picked up what I thought was an intersting image recently. For those that may have wondered where the term "cagers" came from - this is a good example. Basketball in the early 1900's was often played in the local Armory. Fence "cages" were built around the court and there was no out-of-bounds. As you can probably tell from this photo, the game became VERY phycical.

Rob M.

O/T - "Cagers"
