2 losers caught stealing former mlb players ws rings

Posted By: anthony
earlier today i was disgusted by 2 losers who were brought to jail for trying to sell stolen christmas presents. in addition to clothes and what-not, they had in their possession 2 stolen world series rings from a former mlb player. the only thing i will say is that the rings were dated back to 1949. and since this is not their first time, they are looking at 7+ years.

just thought i'd share...sorry i cant give more details

Posted By: Jodi Birkholm
Funny, we just lost two 1949 Yankees within a few days of each other--Tommy Byrne and Clarence Marshall. There are still a handful of surviving players from that team: Jerry Coleman, Yogi Berra, Bobby Brown, Charlie Silvera, Jack Phillips, Ralph Houk, Duane Pillette, and I'm pretty certain Fred Sanford is still with us. All in all, a pretty good statistic of living players from a team that played nearly 60 years ago.
