Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Mike H
My current room is a green that is waaay to blue-ish. I'm looking at darker green and considering a brick redish color. What do you guys like? I don't want brown because of all the gloves, bats, and dark mahogany furniture. I want something that will make the memorabilia stand out, but still have that den/museum look to it. I know a light tan would make things pop, but then I wouldn't have the warmth of deeper colors. If you have a pic to post of what you did, that would be terrific. |

Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Dan Bretta
I used two colors of green...even though I did a crappy job on that corner. I still like the colors.

|

Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Greg Theberge
Hey guys,

Beige/tan is what I used. The "room" is for the beer. The Sox are in the bedroom (good thing my wife's a Sox fan). This photo doesn't do the room justice...too much light from the flash. Usually it's more subdued (did I spell that right?)

Here's the room as it looks this morning. That big thing on the floor is a concrete/marble terrazzo bar top we just picked up, made in 1916 and weighs about 400 lbs.

|

Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Dan Bretta
Believe it or not Mike I used tape. Not very well, but I did...then I tried to touch it up and that's what I got. My wife said if you're looking at the paintjob then your not looking in the right places. |

Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Brock G.
I think that panoramic photo is enough to take the attention away from the paint in the corner. That thing is HUGE! |

Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Mike H
I love the beer stuff Greg. That bar top is FANTASTIC! I would like my office to be a little darker, so maybe beige and green. I keep coming back to green. More pics...more, more, more! |

Best color for memorabilia rooms Posted By: Ryan
My sports room is a dark green. I like the way it looks with the wood in frames and browns in leather.

[IMG][/IMG] |
