1950s and 60s Sport Magazine photos
Posted By: <b>Chris Counts</b><p>Ever since I first came across them in the early 70s, I've been intrigued by the fantastic color photos that appeared in Sport Magazine in the 1950s and 1960s. I never cared too much for the articles, but the pictures are, in my estimation, truly remarkable. I figured the only way to assemble a good collection of these images would be to cut up a hundred or so Sport Magazines, which I never had the heart to do. But recently, I came across on eBay a collection of photos previously removed from the magazines that Will Hays was offering. He guessed there were a couple hundred in the collection, but actually there were about twice that many. After spending days looking at these wonderful photos, I decided to start scanning them so others could enjoy them as well.
