Jay: Card SET HOF?
Posted By: Julie
When we had that thread going about "your five favorite sets," you said one night in the chatroom that you had tabulated what we said, and the the five (consensus) favorites were: N172, N162, T206, T205 and T3 (not necessarily in that order.

Any chance they WILL be posted? Do you remember the order? I realize I should have submitted this post a month ago...

3)

5)

1)

2)
4)

Posted By: jay behrens
I did a weight tally (meaning one first place vote for a set counted more than 5 fifth place votes for a set) of the response to a thread about everyone's top 5 sets of all time.

Here are the top 5 sets, which I will eventually list on the Basebball Card HOF site http://webpages.charter.net/sabrjay/cardhof.html

1. t206
2. t3
3. n172
4. t205
5. n162

There was a pretty good spread in the weight score between the top 5 sets, with none being within 10 points of the next set in the list. The drop from 5 to 6 was only 5 points. Only 15 points seperated sets 6-10

6. Cracker Jacks
7. 1933 Goudey
8. t210 Obak
9. t207
10. Diamond Stars

Jay
