Babe Ruth PSA 2
Posted By: lucky944
I recently purchased a graded PSA 2 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #149 around $450 on a 3-day ebay auction. I won the auction by becoming a second chance winner, with the top bidder withdrawing from the auction. The seller takes only money orders and cashier checks. I never won an auction by second chance and I'm unsure on how safe this auction is with the previous winner and probably another guy backing out. The seller's feedback is 100% positive with 43 feedbacks total and 16 feedbacks this month. But the seller's feedback is kept private. If anyone get a chance give me reply giving me some input

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5109957714&ssPageName= ADME:B:EOAB:US:6

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5109098486&ssPage Name=STRK:MEWA:IT

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5109957714&ssPage Name=STRK:MEWN:IT

Posted By: Jason Smith
I didn't even know you could keep your feedback private! What's the point of feedback if it's not public? The whole premise of eBay is reputation. I may not be perfect in the rest of my life (check my credit history, ha ha), but I will make sure I stay in good standing with my eBay rating, and I would never want it to be private. You know you want this card, but you probably better pass, if only because of the principle that this guy is skirting around what eBay is supposed to be about.
Are 2nd chance winners obligated to buy? I've never been involved in that kind of auction.
Jason
