Pro Trimmed?

Posted By: T206Collector
I can't believe that Pro didn't grade this card because it was trimmed. I thought that's all that they graded!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31718&item=5109824 686&rd=1

Pro Trimmed?

Posted By: steve k
I've seen this "trick" before on ebay. The seller shows a lot like that, supposedly from Pro Grading, showing a card having been trimmed. So now the potential buyers believe that the other graded lots from Pro Grading must be legitimate and untrimmed. Whether or not that note actually came from Pro Grading, I don't know. But it very well may have. Very possibly even Pro Grading does a little "trick" every once in a while, by sending back a card ungraded because of trimming, to fool people into believing that the rest of the cards they grade are not trimmed. I quickly looked at some of this seller's other lots, and they are obviously trimmed and were graded by Pro Grading.

Pro Trimmed?

Posted By: tbob
I had never seen a card sent back for trimming by PRO. I sent them a couple of trimmed cards which I wanted slabbed for protection only with no intent of re-selling them and they all graded.
