Another GAI Slip Up

Posted By: T206Collector
I don't know about you, but if my Ex-Mt Walter Johnson portrait came back from GAI slipping around in the case, I wouldn't sell the card on eBay, I'd be filing a complaint with GAI.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=57993&item=5109594 034&rd=1

Another GAI Slip Up

Posted By: Lee Behrens
The sad thing is that all they need to do is make a thicker insert and the problem is solved. I do not like the way cards lie within there holders. I would not use a grading service with sloppy holdering.

I recently found the best holder in the business "Champs", I had a hell of a time getting the holder open, one piece was inserted inside of another. It took Jay standing on the holder and me prying the holder with a pliers to crack it open.

Another GAI Slip Up

Posted By: tbob
I posted several months ago about several E94s I had graded by GAI which were floating around. Immediately a couple of posters took me to task telling how they had submitted hundreds of cards to them and never had a floating card.
I hope they are reading this thread, the nerds...

Posted By: Rich Porricelli
Ive recently experienced a "floater" with a t205 Criger that was graded a 7. After reading what was posted here, I doubt very much I will do business with them again. They had no trouble sending back to me several nice examples, stating they where trimmed (real close- boarder line), but that floater really set me off!
