1911 WS Carl Joseph & Co. advertising scorecard

Posted By: <b>Bill Cornell</b><p>I recently picked up this 1911 WS advertising card made for Carl Joseph & Co. (Chicago). 20 player portraits of the Giants and A's are shown across the top (Matty, Plank, Baker, Bender, Collins, etc.); the middle shows Wagner, Cobb, Walsh, McGraw, and Mack. It's still taped down the middle, albeit really badly.<BR><BR>Has anyone seen the same item or similar ones? This one has the stamped clothing seller's name of "P. Bertelson, Greene, N. Dak" on it (map of Greene below).<BR><BR>Bill<BR><BR><center><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/greene.jpg"><BR><BR><BR><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel2_small.jpg"><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel1_small.jpg"> <BR><BR><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel3_small.jpg"><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel4_small.jpg"></center><BR><BR><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel2.jpg"><BR> <img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel1.jpg"> <BR><img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel3.jpg"><BR> <img src="http://www.t207.com/images/joseph/joseph_panel4.jpg"> <BR>

Posted By: <b>prewarsports</b><p>I sold one last Summer on ebay and it went for around $200. Mine had no tape and the binding was still complete. I would estimate yours is worth $125-$150 based on the display value even though it is seperated along the spine.
