Why Is This Devore Going For So Much $$$?
Posted By: ralph
Personally, I think this would be a $40 card rather than $80. It was displayed well, something sellers don't often do and which is critical to getting a decent price for a raw card. Also, the 3rd bidder was at $50, so I wasn't far off. This was a case where 2 bidders wanted this card for more than what the market guides for.

Why Is This Devore Going For So Much $$$?
Posted By: t-206collector
The seller said that "[t]he back of this card has a very light side to side wrinkle that creates a very faint ridge on the front near the top that is only visible at an angle under intense light and it does not take away from the overall strong appearance." So, at best this card grades out as VG-EX. Is there something about Devore that makes a VG-EX example go for close to $80? Or is it just condition, condition, condition?
