Posted By: <b>petecld</b><p>A friend of mine asked me about my experience buying from "The Polo Grounds", his ads are in SCD. The ads offer mostly high end 50s to 70s cards so I haven't bought anything from him but thought maybe someone here has.<BR><BR>The question is how are his grading standards? When he lists a card as NM, are they? Are the MT cards Mint? You get the idea.<BR><BR>In accordance with the law of averages there will be those with good and bad experiences but lets not get into a heated good guy/bad guy debate. Posted By: <b>warshawlaw</b><p>and was dissatisfied, but that was some time ago.<BR><BR>The prices looked good. I purchased six cards, all of which were overgraded. The worst was a Rosen/Kiner 51 Topps panel that had a back wrinkle in Kiner.
