Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>I thought I would ask those who know more than I about this. I have started concentrating on collecting just T206 and also T213 cards. I had a question on T213 values. Obviously these are a lot harder to find than T206 cards. A search of T213 on ebay may only show a handful at most up for auction. I have bought about 20 now (most are on SGC registry) and I am wondering how to price these. Is the SCD catalog a pretty accurate guide since these are not heavily collected or are ebay and prices at shows more accurate that reflect their rarity regardless of how many people buy them. Posted By: <b>TBob</b><p>Having collected a near set of the T213-3s (I don't care what anyone says, to me, these are the toughest of the 3 "subsets") and about 3/4 of the T213-2s, I can tell you that prices for these cards on eBay and values set in the book have no relation to their scarcity. On the other hand, the prices and values in the guides reflect that there aren't that many collectors out there pursuing these cards. The exception is when a popular HOFer card appears in nice shape. Maybe one of these days this set will take off like the T207 set is finally beginning to do and the caramel cards have done the past 2 years...

Posted By: <b>Julie Vognar</b><p>..is that you can get a Cobb redbackground for half the price (correct me if figure is wrong) of a T206 (and having paid for a bat off and a green backgrond, you aren't too eager to invest in another T206 Cobb).<BR>(didn't get one yet, but lust after Ben's. After Ben, too, of course.)<BR>Finally got a Speaker that isn't all worn around the edges, too.<BR><BR>How nice that they're less popular!

Posted By: <b>TBob</b><p>The T213-3 overprints are the toughest. They are as rare as the E94 overprints and the E98 Old Puts but don't command the same premium because no one knows about them. I have a T213-3 overprint John McGraw in EXMT and traded a nice T213-3 Cobb bat off about 2 years ago for a sharp E94 Wagner and cash. They are scarce as hen's teeth. The McGraw stays in the safe...
