Ok, my first T206 purchase

Posted By: Jason
I've bought an "oc" card or 2, and they are knocked down 2 grades (correct me if I'm wrong) on the registry. If the registry doesn't matter to you, then it's is a beautiful card and you should be very happy! Anyway, that makes it technically a six instead of an eight as far as PSA is concerned, which books at $425. The SMR online always seems lower than they go on ebay and much lower than a card shop would try to get, so I wouldn't say you were too far off. Off Centered cards are probably harder to sell though, but all in all, it'll be pretty hard to get a nicer Lajoie.
Jason

Posted By: Mike (18colt)
. . . buy the card, not the holder.

If you're happy with the purchase price, you didn't overpay.

If you bought this as an investment, I can't help you. I collect quantity over quality, so high end card values are not my area of expertise. Perhaps others on this board can comment on that.

Good luck on future T-206 purchases.
