Posted By: brian parker
I figured that since the ugliest vintage cards had a thread a few weeks back, why not start up one on the worst issues to slab. Here is my candidate, which although a little out of the normal time frame of this board, still needs to be seriously considered:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2745853444&category=31 718

Can anyone top this? Not only are these mini-cards from one of the silliest issues out there, but their 'floatation presentation' could cause sea-sickness in those with delicate constitutions.

Brian

Posted By: jay behrens
I still have serious problems with cards getting grades above VG that are not in their original state. Strip cards should be in a strip to command proper, high grades and perforated cards should not be seperated from each other.

As for silly issues to get graded, how about those 1982 Topps stickers. But then again, they are going for $60+. And to think, I had cases of that junk back around that time.

Jay
