Posted By: Anonymous
Indirectly related to this forum - news sources reported today that ebay accepted listings for pieces of the space shuttle "Columbia". I always have felt that ths company smelled like a sewer hole with all the fraud, etc.But this sheds a new light on this bunch.What type of mindlees humanoid would stoop to this.Although I too have been hooked on ebay for years, I would enthusastically support a boycott, if someone knew how to organize it.Maybe it would actually get their attention. {Mr.Warshaw; that was a great article on ebay,you wrote last year. One of the best on that subject I've ever read}

Posted By: Paul
I'm no fan of ebay's business practices, but I heard on the news that the auctions for shuttle disaster "memorabilia" were quickly ended by ebay. I don't think they can be faulted for the fact that these auctions were briefly posted. They do not screen auction listings before they are posted, and I'm not sure how they could, except by hiring thousands of people to check the accuracy or decency of every single posting.
