I'll be fair with my consulting fee... Two more tougher questions on Bishop..1) Name the five cities they had offices in, four of which operated factories? (Clue: Leon knows at least 3)2) Which city still has the only remaining original Bishop factory (As of Jan 2002) ?

I believe that San Francisco and Los Angeles also had factories but are long gone.<BR><BR> Of course, all my knowledge comes from Mark in the first place--he is the man when it comes to the Pacific Coast League baseball and all the related history.<BR><BR>Brian

Kind of like the one who wrote the book answering the questions. That wouldn't be fair would it? Actually, thanks for helping out here. I do the above mentioned (eat, drink, talk cards)....but have only been doing it for about a quarter, to a fifth, of the time of some of the members, including yourself, have been at it. Of course I had cards when I was little, in the 60's, but got out of them and into trouble <img src="/images/sad.gif" height=14 width=14> That's a whole "nuther" story though. I will answer the initial question tomorrow afternoon if no one has by then. Again, Mark give an amateur a break here <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> I might fire another question back too..take care and best regards

Posted By: <b>leon</b><p>The 2 brothers that ran the company were Roland Bishop and Willliam Bishop Jr.. There were factories in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and a temporary one in Oakland, at 6th and Clay streets. I will need to defer back to Mark for any other offices. And here is the last question, which if the first one didn't get answered, then this one probably won't either. Mark- if you are out there you can answer this if you would like. Who was the 3rd person that was running the company AND listed on their letterhead with the 2 brothers? regards all
