Vintage input desperately needed
Posted By: MW
I know there has been some discussion on this forum about eBay categories for vintage baseball cards. EBay is currently soliciting opinions. One key issue affecting many board members is the listing of reprints and non-baseball card issues in the regular categories.

I encourage all to contribute to this "survey":

http://forums.ebay.com/dwd?50@@.ef8c8b8/6

Posted By: MW
Question #4 on the survey.

A new subcategory needs to be created in ALL vintage baseball categories. The subcategory will be called "AAA, NASA and crap sold by libertyforall."

Think of all the featured category fees he (libertyforall) will save.

Posted By: Dan Mathewson
For eBay to continue to let him list under "Graded CARDS" is ridiculous to exponential proportions. Unless, suddenly, an ad cut from page 74 of the TV Guide is now a "card"...among the other trash he sells.

Posted By: David
It was so much easier voting in Edgar Allen Poe's day, when bar hopping and voting were essentially the same thing. Sure, Edgar died early, found lifeless in a Baltimore gutter-- but he voted as many times as if he lived to 120.

Posted By: jay behrens
also be sure to ask they dropp the 1940-49 and merge them as follows, 1930-44 and 1945-59. It provides a logical divider between modern and vintage issues. It also the benifit of Bowman collectors not haveing to wade thru Goudeys and Playballs and vice versa. And with almost no cards being issued between 1942-7, niether catagory would be unduely burdened by extra cards. Plus, this way you can find all Bowman, Goudeys, Playballs, etc in one catagory

Jay
