Dave's illicit trade

Posted By: David
Had an auction cancelled by eBay. I was selling a famous ballplayer's 34 year old Treasurey Dept. W-4 form. eBay cancelled the auction as they do not allow liscenses or passports with personal information-- and this was close enough for them. This document didn't have any personal information, other that the address where he no longer lives. I'm not arguing with eBay's policy, just thought it was an interesting story.

As someone who buys/sells a lot of personal and professional letters and 'official' documents, I'm always sensitive of releasing overly personal information. I have altered many contracts by blacking out the social security numbers.
