A Different E120 Question
Posted By: Kevin Cummings
With all the attention being paid to a certain 1952 Mantle card, my follow-up question in Leon's E120 post got overlooked, so I decided to start a new thread.

I just picked up a new E120 myself and when I was tucking it away with the rest of my commons, I noticed something I never did before.

The National League cards are consistently shorter than their American League counterparts. My 5 NL commons break out: two at 3 3/16, two at 3 1/4 and one at 3 7/32. The 3 American Leaguers, on the other hand, are 3 1/4, 3 1/4 and and 3 9/32 long.

The widths are all almost dead on at 2 inches.

Do anyone else's E120 cards exhibit the same tendencies and has anyone got a rational explanation for that phenomenon? Also, are the ones that measure 3 3/16 too short to be considered "legal?"
