1925 Minor League baseball question
 

Posted By: <b>David&nbsp; </b><p>In the 1920s was Jersey City a minor league affiliate of, or otherwise associated with, the Yankees? I have two 1925 New York Yankees contracts for a player who appears to have played for Jersey City that year. One contract says he could be designated (assigned or traded/sold I assume) to another team by the Yankees. So I'm just curious if Jersey City was an affiliate of the Yankeer or something like that.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance
