I don't get it.

There's nothing special about their design, and I understand that if you buy one, if you actually want it delivered to your home vs. having Topps hold it for you, there's a charge for that, too beyond postage. On the other hand, I have wondered why Topps, UD, etc. don't sell boxes of their cards to collectors via the internet. I doubt it's because of their concern about card shops potentially going under.
