Reserve Auctions Annoy Me...

I get annoyed at the secret little reserve amounts.<BR><BR>Today, I noticed that dwmorris' T-202 finally sold, after having it on eBay for months and months. Originally, it was in a PSA holder, but i think he figured that was hampering its sellability, so he cracked it out. I think it was a PSA 3 or 4, I'm not sure. He must've spent $30 listing and relisting this thing for almost a year! &lt;LOL&gt;

Posted By: <b>leon</b><p>Reserve auctions protect a seller from getting low balled and allow people to bid the price up..therefore, letting the "opening" get going....there are many auctions, as I am sure you are aware, that have minimum bid amounts and then often don't meet reserve.... some wholesale car auctions come to mind.....at least this gives me another perspective though......best..

Posted By: <b>jay behrens</b><p>bidding doesn't hurt either because I ahve had several occasions where I was the high bidder and the reserve was not met, yet the seller agreed to sell the item to me at the bid I made.<BR><BR>They annoy me too, but if it's something I really want, I will generally bid anyway.<BR><BR>Jay
