t206 variations - two new ones?
 

Posted By: <b>runscott</b><p>I recently picked up a small horde of t206 HOF'ers, mostly dupes, and ran across two interesting variations. <BR><BR>1. Out of 6 Matty black caps, 3 have greenish ink used as hilites in his face and 3 don't. It's very clearly a printing variation that I had been unaware of.<BR><BR>2. Both McGraw (glove at hip) variations are missing most of the 'L' in "NAT'L". I know that this isn't a true error, but then either is the "NODGRASS" card, and it appears to be the same deal.<BR><BR>Thoughts?

Posted By: <b>brian</b><p>Dear Scott<BR> I would love to see scans also. I've seen alot of t206's with incomplete type over the years, but never made a note of which poses it happened most often. I am also bothered by the NODGRASS, doctored or not, it's no magie. be well brian
