Posted By: Jim/jverri01
Are we talking "attainable" cards difficult to acquire, or "unattainable" difficult? Either way, my vote is for the Doyle error card. The hype around Honus should pale in comparison to the difficulty of finding the Doyle card. As for "attainable" cards, just difficult, I'd have to say any HOFer with a Drum or Brown Lenox back (I would also include Broadleaf 460 - but, I've acquired and sold TWO mid-grade examples in the last 8 months). I've seen several high-end HOFers with UZIT backs (Crawford on Teletrade, Cobb that BMW has, Jennings in Mastro) recently. If I were at "T206 Heaven" and I had a pick of any card - I'd go with the Doyle - probably with a Drum back. And, it would have to be graded by NASA - Heaven's choice for professional grading(lol).

Posted By: David
Though some will no doubt object to me mingling them with the 'list' cards, several of your print variations are unique, and so are the proofs.

Amongst 'listed' T206s, I agree that you almost never see the Doyle variation offered for public sale. Whether or not the Cobb is rarer, you will see it for sale a few times a year.

Posted By: ty_cobb
The toughest T206 to acquire would be Ty Cobb
batting, Red Hindu back. It could exist, but it
has not been checklisted to my knowledge. There
are about twelve Ty Cobbs w. Ty Cobb back, about
three Drums, two Uzits. Try and find a legitimate
Red Hindu Cobb!
