Posted By: <b>David</b><p>Seth, this is very similar but not identical to the to the 1896 Mayo Die-Cut N301 Game. The pieces and poses are stylistically the same, but different in detail. This type of cut out game, whether issued in publication or via tobacco was popular at this time. I've haven't seen yours before, perhaps others on this board have.

Posted By: <b>David</b><p>Your exact same game appeared, with a green field in addition, in the Philadelphia Enquirer, and perhaps other newspapers, in the same year. A similar but different game appeared in the New York Recorder also appeared in 1896. I have seen the second game a few times, including on eBay.
