Interesting collector stats

Other than non-sports dominating the top 10 (why it takes 2-6 months to get a a card graded), it's funny that football card collecting is dominated by new QB speculation, while the other major sports are a mix of old and new.

For those wondering why Elly is in the top 5, he shared the cover of MLB "The Show" 2025 video game with Skenes...that probably helped a lot.

No baseball in the top 10. With our society the way it is, it doesn't surprise me.

That Michael Jordan was two spots behind Hot Wheels blew me away.

Wow, that list is amazing.

While pondering the list, I realized that when I began collecting in the late 50s and early 60s the only item on the entire list that was even in existence at that time was Hot Wheels and that was in the late 60s.

Maybe that's why the collective voice of vintage collectors doesn't carry as much weight as it did, let's say, 15 or so years ago.

Maybe card collecting at some point will go the way of stamp collecting and Hummel's, but that still to be determined.

Well, between PSA and PSA 10, there’s bound to be some baseball mixed in there…

So I’m counting it!

Jim, "Football Cards" is on the Top 10 list. They were around in the 1950's.

Super surprised my 1913 Jimmy Lewis Zeenut search didn't make the top 10.

"PSA 10, I don't even care what card it is!"
