1968 Topps Baseball Upgrades Wanted
 

I'm going to list my 1968 non-superstar cards that I'm trying to upgrade through trade primarily. Here's the list:

27; 99; 124; 140; 172; 190; 195; 256; 278; 335; 367; 384; 385; 413; 424; 435; 465; 469; 475; 491; 494; 497; 516; 533; 541; 551; 553; 557; 564; 571; 574; 575; 579; 580; 581; 588; 589; 595.

I'm seeking these in vg-ex condition without creases or wrinkles; 80/20 centering is fine, but no miscuts or tilted cards; and no marks or writing. Also, light corner wear is acceptable. Please check my varying lists for trade on this section as well as the post-80s section.

I just finished my set in August, here’s my leftovers if you can use? What’s the star cards you need?

Virtually almost all of the star cards are creased, and I would describe them as ranging from fair to very good condition. If I upgrade them, it would be a slow process as I would have to replace the major stars one at a time. Fortunately, the Mays and Mantle cards are crease and wrinkle free, but the corners aren't sharp. The Ryan, if graded, would probably be a 1.5; it fills a space and may never be switched due to its expense.

I just upgraded my 1969 Topps Baseball set, and the Mantle, Ryan, Reggie, and Bench cards are in very good condition and crease free. These were never meant to be "beauty queens," I'm reliving my collecting from when I was a child (1969-1975) when most of my older cards then were worn. My collection now is much better and complete that what I had from that time, so I can't complain.
