FS: 1962 Post Cereal Store Display cutouts of Mantle and Marris.
These unbelievably rare pieces were cut very well from the original hanging store display. They are in fine condition, no holes, rips etc but they were stored folded so have some creases. These are not very thick so I think they're in about as good of shape as one could wish. Edit: Maris has a very small rip I just noticed in the top border maybe a quarter inch. Would be invisible framed.
To my knowledge only a handful of displays exist. They were folded and hung up in isles by a string. So you can only imagine these are hens teeth rare. They are large pieces, about 15x19 inches. Really stunning quality large display pieces. That somebody did a fabulous job many many years ago cutting out. Please check out the Original 1962 Post display photo with the mantle side showing above the cereal! I'm asking, Mantle- $2000 Maris- $1300 Payment by ppff or check please. I can also meet in person at the upcoming Chantilly show. Thanks PS: Thanks to member AustinMike for his expertise and help. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b54ff1c0e7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2694d54ca1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f9a7aa5180.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c447de95fa.jpg |

There are at least three of the complete display banners. Here is a photo of two of mine side by side. One now resides in Austin Mike's collection. A third is shown in Kelly Eisenhauer's Mantle list in SCD. Oh yeah, I also have the Canadian version as well. |

Also, do you have anything else from the display picture I posted? There seems to be large versions of the cards themselves that existed. And other stuff. |

I have the entire store display kit that has all the items shown in the display photo you posted. The "large card phots" come from the whirls around display for the 62 Post baseball promotion shown at the top of your photo. Here are photos of that display unassembled |
