I put the plug into

my weekly DFW newsletter and I looked at the auction items and there were some things that I said, great collector based cards

So I am in the middle of a road trip Jacksonville Florida to Evergreen Colorado for my oldest son's wedding. Today I just happened to be in the neighborhood of the world headquarters of Brockelman Auctions (Rhome Texas), and met up with Scott to hand off some consignment items for a future auction.

Just thought I would give a shout out to Brockelman Auctions, especially for the newer members and ones that participate in the BST on here. The owner Scott is an active, helpful Net54 member, his auctions always have a wide range of prewar cards and memorabilia, as well as not as old cards for both sports and non-sports. And cards ranging from investor level to lower condition for all types.

The buyer's premium is as low (15%) as seen for any auction house, and as far as I know no sales tax (unless perhaps if a Texas resident?). Shipping is prompt, reasonably priced, and appropriately packaged.

I normally hold a contest on here regarding items I consigned, but have to skip it this time...perhaps for the next auction. So this post is just going to have to do.

The Brockelman Auction is worth chirping about, and definitely well worth checking out, and perhaps you will find it is also worth bidding about.

Thanks to everyone for the comments.

I have always tried to put together auctions with an emphasis on scarce items, as well as mainstream items, most sold individually for collectors to add to their sets. This auction is no different with a variety of items that won't appear again for sale for some time. All of this is done with as low a cost to the bidders and consignors as possible. No fancy emails, website or packaging, just tough desirable material that finds new homes.

The Fall 2025 Auction will end tomorrow night, Saturday October 4, 2025.

Please note we will be ending the initial bidding and beginning the extended bidding one hour earlier than usual in response to more and more bidders not wanting to stay up late at night to bid, and many missing out in the early morning hours when they are fast asleep.

Initial bidding will end at 9:00 PM CST and Extended bidding will then begin, with each lot closing individually after not receiving a bid for 30-minutes.

There is still time to Register for those not yet participating in our auctions.

Good Luck to all bidders and consignors (unless you're bidding against me)

I paid via zelle on Monday, but didn't receive auction winnings until 2 days later.
I'm not sure what caused the delay, but it was well packaged and arrived safely.
Thanks Scott, always a pleasure.
