Looking for detailed info on Bf2 pennants.

1. How many different colors do the pennants come in?

2. What are the names of the colors ?

3. Is there any way to know what colors are associated with individual players ?

The reason I ask is that I am attempting to put together a complete rainbow of colors for Joe Wood but do not know what colors they are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Doug

I don’t recall seeing a definitive list anywhere, though it’s certainly possible that one exists.

The Old Cardboard gallery is a great resource . . . https://www.oldcardboard.com/o/b/bf2/bf2gal01.asp

. . . and suggests that there are at least 15 different colors, maybe more depending on how many different shades of purple and gray you see. Plus I believe there may be additional colors that exist but aren’t included in this gallery.

I haven’t seen any research on that, either. It does sometimes seem like some players are more common in certain colors (especially White Sox on white pennants), but that could easily be a combination of small sample size and confirmation bias; and there does seem to be quite a bit of variety. I’ve seen Joe Tinker, for example, in at least nine different colors.

Good luck with your Wood hunt! If you feel like sharing, I’d also love to see which ones you’ve got so far.
