Just received my 13th my 1913 B-18 Red Infield back from my framer. Three to go, but I don't think the Cobb is in my budget.

I have always wanted one of these for my collection but they are hard to find and mostly too expensive for me.

In late 2021, there were two that came up (Gowdy, Perdue) at a small country auction that were in really nice condition and I thought this was my chance. I bid $700 each and thought that would do it.

Nope. Each went for $1100.

Isn't the Cobb with the white background considered the toughest?

John, The Cobb with the red background is the most expensive and rarest.

Red Infields are tough.

I have had a few but sold them. I also had a red basepaths red pennant Moriarty. Not as cool as the red infield but would make a nice companion piece. I sold this one too.
